Project Information
This project provides temporary accommodation for homeless people. The establishment of this project by Clackmannanshire Council was a reaction to the very real need for a housing advice and assessment centre in the county. The design was always intended to be attractive, high quality and non-standard. The development therefore seeks to provide an attractive scheme that will enhance the area whilst moving away from the ‘institutional’ appearance often associated with public housing facilities.
Movements are controlled through the central office ‘hub’ and greatly reduce the reliance of excessive secure boundary measures.
This residential facility provides flexible and inclusive accommodation, which is also comfortable and energy efficient. The facility integrates with the surrounding buildings.
